Network options include HSPA/EDGE/GPRS, CDMA/EVDO, WiMAX, 802.11, satellite, radio and canopy/mesh networks as well as ADSL or cable via Ethernet.  Free2move will be 4G/LTE compatible, when it becomes commercially available.
